Plead with God for unreached peoples
"You will die for these lies!" screamed Tunde, as he tore up the tract and threw it in the face of the Every Home for Christ (EHC) evangelist in a North African city. Later that night, this Muslim young man couldn't sleep. Then something happened which alarmed him -- he heard a voice speak to him, and tell him to go back to the EHC evangelist and ask for another copy of the tract! At dawn the next day the EHC evangelist awoke to a knock on his door, and there stood Tunde! "How did you find me?" he asked as they sat down. Tunde replied: "A voice without a body told me your address, and that the booklet I tore up was the truth. The voice said that I must get another booklet and believe what it contained so I could have eternal life." Tunde went on to complete a six month Bible course and he is now a full-time missionary. Except for Tunde's name this is a true story. Such stories are an example of what happens in response to the power of prayer on what is known as the Night of Power during the month of Ramadan. Muslims believe that this is a special night of miracles when Allah speaks to his people. They are especially receptive to dreams and visions during this time. Please pray that God will do more miracles like this among the Muslims on the Night of Power, which will be a couple of nights from now. Dear God, thank You that You created life through Your voice and the power of Your Word.

Pursue God's heart for all nations
"As I looked, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat. The court was seated, and the books were opened" (Daniel 7:9, 10). Daniel was given a glimpse of the end times, and in particular, as seen in these verses, of the Great White Throne judgment. (See also Revelation 20:11-15.) The dead will then stand before the Father's throne and be judged according to what they have done. What an awesome vision for Daniel to behold! As he continued to watch, the Son of Man was led into the Father's presence and "was given authority, glory, and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him" (7:14). How glorious and how comforting! God has not given us an impossible commission. It will be accomplished as we yield ourselves to Him.
Lord, we thank You for this glimpse of the future. Hasten the day, through us, when some from every nation will sing Your praises.
